My design was inspired by the bold and playful identity of food brands, especially brands like Amul that use a memorable mascot to make their brand instantly recognizable. Instead of using a traditional logo, I decided to create a mascot for my pizza brand. I wanted the mascot to become a distinctive part of the identity and help the brand stand out from other pizza websites that mainly rely on logos and food photography. The overall idea was to make the website feel energetic, fun, and focused on spicy food.

For the typography, I chose a bold, condensed font for the main heading, “TURN UP THE HEAT.” I used a large size and placed it prominently in the hero section so that it immediately catches the viewer’s attention. The condensed style also helps create a strong and energetic feeling while fitting comfortably into the layout. I kept the text on the buttons simple and readable so that the main heading remains the strongest typographic element.

I used a structured layout with the mascot and navigation at the top, followed by a large hero section and then the “HOT DEALS” section. The three deal cards are aligned in a row, creating consistency and making the offers easy to compare. I also used spacing between the sections to keep the page organised.

The main colours are red, black, white, and yellow. Red represents heat, energy, and excitement, while black provides contrast. Yellow is used for the buttons because it stands out against the darker elements and attracts attention.

I created visual hierarchy by making the mascot, main heading, and pizza image the key focal points. Overall, I want viewers to feel excited, hungry, and curious about the brand, while remembering the mascot as something that makes the brand different from its competitors.
