Overview
Before the program
A short pre-read on entrepreneurship fundamentals is shared before Oct 2. Students arrive on Day 1 knowing the basics, so live time is spent on application, not explanation.
Day 1 - October 2 | Case studies, tools, and masterclass (3 sessions)
Session 1
Case studies. Real startups, real decisions, real outcomes. Students analyse businesses that succeeded and failed and identify the turning points.
Session 2
Tools for entrepreneurs (Part 1). Business Model Canvas, customer discovery, and how to define your problem before you design your solution.
Session 3
Masterclass with Prof. Dennis Hanno, Fordham University. What entrepreneurship really means, how businesses are born, and what separates ideas that survive from ideas that don't.
Day 2 - October 3 | Tools, validation, and a founder's perspective (3 sessions)
Session 4
Tools for entrepreneurs (Part 2). Market sizing, competitive analysis, and basic financial thinking. How founders validate before they build.
Session 5
Tools for entrepreneurs (Part 3). Pitching, storytelling, and how to communicate your idea to investors, customers, and partners.
Session 6
Founder session. An industry entrepreneur shares their journey, including what they got wrong, what they wish they'd known, and what it actually takes.
Day 3 - October 4 | Workshop and personalized guidance (2 sessions)
Session 7
Business plan workshop. Students present their draft plans in small groups and receive peer and mentor feedback.
Session 8
Personalized guidance. One-on-one or small group sessions with experts to sharpen each student's business plan before final submission.
After the program
Receive a curated reading list covering entrepreneurship, startup thinking, and business strategy, drawn from resources that founders and business students actually use. Support is also available to help finalize and polish the business plan before submission.
This is not a 3-day workshop.
It is a complete learning experience: expert-led sessions, a hands-on build, and a published project with a certificate. The 3 days are the live component. The learning runs longer.
The mentors were encouraging, and hearing everyone’s perspectives helped me grow not just as a speaker but also as a thinker.
