Overview

Before the program

Students receive a short pre-read on how consumer psychology and brand identity work together, so Session 1 starts with context already in place.

Week 1 - How iconic brands are built (3 sessions)

Session 1 | Thursday, Dec 24
What makes a brand iconic. The difference between a product and a brand. Case study: how boAt built a youth brand from scratch without the budget of global giants.

Session 2 | Friday, Dec 25
How brands capture attention online. Social media strategy, content marketing, and platform logic (why a brand behaves differently on Instagram vs LinkedIn). Case study: Zomato's social media playbook.

Session 3 | Saturday, Dec 26
Consumer psychology and why people buy. Brand positioning, storytelling, and what separates forgettable brands from iconic ones. Case study: Nykaa's positioning in a crowded beauty market. Students receive their project brief.

Week 2 - From strategy to execution

Session 4 | Thursday, Dec 31
How marketers measure performance. Key metrics: reach, engagement, conversion, CAC, and ROI. How budgets are allocated across platforms and campaigns.

Session 5 | Friday, Jan 1
Students develop their own brand strategy using a structured template: target audience, positioning, platform strategy, and one campaign idea. Instructor support and live feedback.

Session 6 | Saturday, Jan 2
Final pitches. Each student presents their brand strategy in a 2-minute pitch. Peer feedback. Submission guidelines for project report and certificate.

After the program

Students complete their project writeup, submit for publishing, and receive their certificate. They also walk away with a strategic framework they can apply to any brand, business, or marketing role they encounter next.
